LAB is currently holding auditions

LAB will be holding auditions for the third show of our 2025 Season

Monday, January 27th & Tuesday, January 28th
7:00 – 9:00pm at 812 E. Henderson Avenue. Tampa, FL 33602

Callbacks will be held as needed on Wednesday, January 29th at 6:30pm

Director Katie Calahan is holding auditions for the world premiere of Craig Houk’s, Cooler on Monday, January 27th at 7pm& Tuesday, January 28th at 7pm. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30pm
Script Synopsis:
Three-time Oscar winner, Jack Dunn, returns to Connecticut after being gone for nearly four years in McGrath, Alaska. His closest friend, Wade Henry, also an award-winning actor, has something Jack wants. After a long evening of drinking and poker with their pals, Jack and Wade, both eager to cement their legacies, face off one last time. Or so it seems.
Characters: 
JACK DUNN (Age 60s/70s, Any Race)
WADE HENRY (Age 60s/70s, Any Race)
WOMAN:
     Plays DELIA SABATINI (Age 90s, Italian American)
     Plays JUDITH (Age 30s, most likely Caucasian)
*Character Notes:
Jack and Wade are actors from a different era, they’ve been professional artists nearly their entire lives. As with many if not all actors, they’re always performing.
Please be prepared to do cold readings from the script
Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition
Performance dates: May 15 – June 1, 2025
Should be available:
Monday, February 10 – 1st Read of script @ 7pm
Sunday, March 16 – 2nd Read of script @ 7pm 
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, April 15 
 *No conflicts tech week, May 11 – 14, or any performance dates*
